New Year Fitness of Consciousness - Weekly Log - January a Winter Blog

- The Physical Body has Consciousness it Speaks Telepathically with Guidance -

With the New Year, it is the time when many start their fitness journey. For me always worked out in terms of Tracy Anderson but never knew how to grow muscles, which was the goal. Stopped doing Tracy Anderson when I found Caroline Girvan on YouTube into a learning journey.

In August 2021, I started Caroline Girvan workouts and I have never stopped. The first program I did was Epic III. At first, I could barely do one video and now do multiple videos to create my training routine using her videos as a template. At first, I could not do lunges, squats, or deadlifts and now they are my favorite exercises that are challenging and rewarding gifts to the body.

Then in 2023 added back Tracy Anderson workouts because I feel that style of training is important for overall muscle movement of the body. It has created stability and balance in the body, which is a nice complement to strength training into a beautiful blend of being.

Keep in mind, doing multiple videos from both trainers is probably crazy but I love the personal challenge of that format. No matter what I always listen to the essence of my physical body on how to train it. The body has consciousness it tells me what it wants. For example, if need a rest day, I take a recovery day, and then there are days my body craves a strength training session.

The point is that we all have to start somewhere and at first, it is hard but it gets easier the movements because understand the fitness flow of the body. Training has created a deeper bond within the self in terms of loving the mechanics of the body consciousness that speaks telepathically with guidance that kisses the soul that knows that it loves within love being you.

- Weekly Log - December 31st – January 6th - Training and Refueling -

  • Workout Week: 1 Recovery Day - 3 Hiking Days - 3 Training Days
Training Thoughts: Felt Fully Trained from Training Template -
  • With the New Year holiday only completed three strength training days this week. However, my weekly goal is four strength training days with hiking and a recovery day. In the past, I would do 6 days of strength training but I found that 4-5 days of full body workouts is a nice balance for my build muscle body as well as for adding hiking ventures into weekly activities.
Fueling the Workout: Felt Fully Fueled for My Training -
  • Eating more, I feel stronger and having more energy. Now I am not sure if I am doing a bulk diet but in a sense eating what I should be consuming as a complement to my training.
Saturday - Fitness Log: The Hiking Day - Cardio-Stretch Day
Type of Hike: Pole Hiking Day
Notes: I used two trekking poles one in each hand for a full-body workout.

Weather: A mini snow event with 2 inches of snow on the ground with warmth in the air, which makes it pleasant to be outdoors. Strangely, it seems like the winter birds are flocking already for Canada, as they usually do this in spring. It makes me wonder with the mild temperature this winter into spring that the spring-summer birds from the south will arrive earlier this year.

Saturday- Refueling Food Log - Day 21 of Bulk Diet
Before Hiking:
- Coffee, Tea
- Eggs, Cow: Cheese, Milk
- Salted Chocolate Bar
After Hiking Refueling:
- Orange Juice (added: salt, water)
- Beef Jerky, Mixed Dried Fruit
- Blue Tortilla Chips: refried beans, sour cream, salsa
- Beef Steaks (cooked with salted butter)
- Mashed Sweet Potatoes (salted butter, heavy cream, honey)

- Beef Jerky, Mixed Dried Fruit
- Crab-Cake Burgers: bread: bun, crumbs; crabmeat, mayo, pickles

Thursday - Fitness Log: The Hiking Day - Cardio-Stretch Day
Type of Hike: Pole Hiking Day
Notes: I used two trekking poles one in each hand for a full-body workout.

Weather: A wintry feel but still mild with snow flurries that look like powdered sugar to create a dusting of sugary flakes on the frozen ground of brown with green highlights. Mentally and physically, felt energized for the hiking session with the sounds of birds and deer in the forest.

Thursday - Refueling Food Log - Day 19 of Bulk Diet

Weather: A wintery feel but in terms of winter, it is still a mild day from my perspective. No snow on the frozen ground of brown with green highlights with a strong quietness on New Year’s Day.
