Diary Documenting this Moment within Moments the Morning Sounds of the First Day of Deer Hunting Season

The start of the white-tailed deer hunting season in Wisconsin is the historic tradition of the families around here. I am awakening to a deep orange sun in the chilly '20s and everything is frosted the leafless trees and golden autumn grass with no wind and very quiet.

Watching the sunrise while stepping outside into chilliness into this calm quietness before the booms begin. Next Beauty neighs loudly from the pasture for her hay, an all-black horse that is a paint by breed definition but she is one color and no spots. Then the mini horse Rosie is a chocolate and white color pinto is also looking at me wanting her hay too.

Then the booms begin while doing the morning chores outside of feeding the horses their hay. The horses are looking around wondering about those loud sounds they are a little nervous initially but then calmed down and started munching on their hay.

Still, a very quiet morning, and the only sounds heard now is the sound of shots from the forest of hunters hunting their yearly deer for feeding their families.
