Being Sick with a Cold the Recovery to Training Again - Weekly Log - January

- Being Sick the Recovery to Training Again upon Next Week -

Being sick with a coughing cough into sore throat with body weakness. Already feeling better as the week goes forward. With that not sure what my training week will be like yet. One of those weeks, take one day at a time with seeing within feeling the recovery from a cold to training again.

- Weekly Log - January 14th – January 20th - Training and Refueling -

Saturday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: I do not eat take-out often because I love cooking and creating my own meals. However, it is fun to consume something fancy and tasty after days of sickness to fuel my training and hiking.

Saturday - Refueling Food Log - Day 35 of Bulk Diet
- Coffee, Tea
- Eggs, Cow: Cheese, Milk
- Mango and Orange Juice (added: salt, water)
- Can of Sardines with Pita Crackers, Sour Cream, Sweet Spicy Salsa
-- Blue Tortilla Chips: refried beans, ground beef, sour cream, salsa
-- Deep Fried Breaded - Chicken (take-out)
-- Deep Fried Breaded - Onion Rings (take-out)
-- Deep Fried Breaded - Cheese Curds (take-out)
-- Deep Fried Breaded - Shrimp (take-out)
-- Deep Fried Breaded - Potato Fries (take-out)
-- Drank Cow Milk with Chocolate Chips Cookies

Friday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: It is the first day that the cough and congestion are mostly gone and feeling like myself again. My training sessions are intense. I realized probably better to be fully healed from the cold. I probably could train today but decided to rest the body fully until Monday to start training again.

Friday - Refueling Food Log - Day 34 of Bulk Diet
- Coffee, Tea
- Eggs, Cow: Cheese, Milk
- Mango and Orange Juice (added: salt, water)
- Can of Sardines with Pita Crackers, Sour Cream, Sweet Spicy Salsa
Freshly Baked Bread into a Variety of Sandwiches
-- Butter Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Tomato Soup (my favorite comfort meal)
-- Butter Grilled Cheese Chicken Breast Sandwiches with Ranch Dressing
-- Butter Grilled Cheese Bacon Sandwiches with Maple Syrup
-- Butter Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches (peanut butter, grape jelly)

Thursday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: Trusting and respecting the healing process of the body.

Thursday - Refueling Food Log - Day 33 of Bulk Diet
- Coffee, Tea
- Eggs, Cow: Cheese, Milk
- Mango and Orange Juice (added: salt, water)
-- Spinach Salad (spinach, chia-seeds, croutons, sour cream, mayo)
-- Sandwich: Bread, Chicken Breast, Ham, Lettuce, Mayo, Pickles
-- Stir-Fry: Chicken Breast, Ham, Veggies, White Rice, Butter, Coconut Oil
- Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwich (raw honey, peanut butter)

Wednesday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: feeling better each day and still healing from cough and congestion.

Wednesday - Refueling Food Log - Day 32 of Bulk Diet

- Eggs, Cow: Cheese, Milk
- Mango and Orange Juice (added: salt, water)
-- Spinach Salad (spinach, chia-seeds, croutons, sour cream, mayo)
-- Sandwich: Bread, Crabmeat, Ham, Lettuce, Mayo, Pickles
-- Stir-Fry: Crabmeat, Ham, Veggies, White Rice, Butter, Coconut Oil
- Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwich (raw honey, peanut butter)

Tuesday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: A little bit of cough and congestion yet but feeling much better, and my strength is coming back. It made doing farm chores much easier.

- Homemade Chicken Soup -

Spaghetti and Meatballs (craving this meaty meal)

-- Spaghetti Pasta Noodles
-- Tomato Sauce: canned tomatoes, jar of salsa, ketchup
- Banana Ice Cream (frozen bananas, cashews, honey, heavy cream, vanilla beans)

Monday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: Feeling much better, could almost do a short yoga workout but probably better to let the body recover another day or more days. For sure getting my appetite back to eating more again.

Seafood Stir-Fry with White Rice:

--- Veggie Stir-Fry: variety of vegetables, herbs, coconut oil
- Banana Pancakes (bananas, coconut flour, eggs)
--- Drank Cow Milk, Ate Pancakes with Honey, Peanut Butter

Sunday - Full Recovery Day from Having a Cold
Notes: I live on a farm with animals, no matter how sick, I still have to go outside and take care of animals. On this day, it was an arctic cold day. It is a wild adventure doing chores while having a cold during the cold weather. It almost feels like an out-of-body experience because feeling physically weak but somehow pushing the body through the chores to completion.
