Migration Bird Diary: The Fox Sparrow has Arrived in March the Chicken Dancers. The Fox Sparrow: Dancing the Chicken Scratch Dance. The next bird migration arrival, seen eating on birdseed was the Fox Sparrow. I nicknamed the Fox Sparrow the chicken dance dancers. Because they scratch the ground with their feet as chickens do, to me it looks like are dancing. These sparrows do not nest here but do stick around until April-May. Eating Green Grapes so Amazing and Refreshing. During the winter months, I do not eat much raw fruit. Although I eat dried, frozen, or canned fruit.
