Migration Bird Arrivals in April: Swallows, Orioles, Thrashers, Sparrows, Warblers. Barn Swallows: One of my favorite birds is the barn swallow. For the reason that they eat the bugs in the barn as well as in the pastures it creates less bugs biting the animals. Orioles: Baltimore and Hybrids: The Baltimore Orioles have arrived to eat on grape jelly. In addition, the last few years noticed more hybrids migrating here. They do nest on the yard. Sparrows, Warblers, Thrasher: Arrival of more sparrows, warblers as well as the thrasher, some nest here and other do not. Winter Birds Leaving: Tree Sparrows and Juncos: During the winter, the Tree Sparrows and Juncos group together eating on the ground the fallen seed from feeders.
