Right now, are eight pigeons living in the hay barn, they are lovers and randomly mate any time. They are playful birds that enjoy interaction, I say hi and they hoot back. Other random moments, the gatherings of pigeons like a pigeon party on the silo and barn with neighboring pigeons that fly here for this event. Observing the Doves: The Rock and the Mourning, Never Interact on the Farm or Yard. Mourning Doves nibble on birdseed and the Rock Doves never eat it. They never interact, even though both are doves.
