Migration Bird Diary: The Fox Sparrow has Arrived in March the Chicken Dancers.

The Fox Sparrow: Dancing the Chicken Scratch Dance.

The next bird migration arrival, seen eating on birdseed was the Fox Sparrow. I nicknamed the Fox Sparrow the chicken dance dancers. Because they scratch the ground with their feet as chickens do, to me it looks like are dancing. These sparrows do not nest here but do stick around until April-May.

Eating Green Grapes so Amazing and Refreshing.

During the winter months, I do not eat much raw fruit. Although I eat dried, frozen, or canned fruit. Anyway, someone brought over bags of green grapes to share a blessing to eat raw grapes so sweetly refreshing.

Daily Diary:

Winter-like day with fresh dusting of snow and windy-cold while doing sunrise and sunset farm chores of feeding and loving the animals. 3AM Awake: Cozy Shower, Beloved Coffee, Cherished Day of Chores-Being for Blessed Farm Life in WI, USA / Asleep: 9PM.

Fitness – Full Rest-Recovery Day. Food – Homemade : Black Coffee, Eggs-Bacon, Dried Fruit. Homemade: Chicken Wings: herbs-garlic-butter, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes: garlic-butter, mozzarella cheese, Raw Green Grapes.

Migration Bird Diary: More March Arrivals: Sandhill Cranes, Female Red Winged Blackbirds, Cowbirds Female Red Winged Blackbirds: Many male Red-Winged Blackbirds arrived in early March and now the females have joined the males in their nesting spots in the swamp. Male and Female Sandhill Cranes: One of my favorite birds is the Sandhill Crane. Cranes do nest here in the pastures and some in the same spots as previous years. Male and Female Cowbirds: The cowbirds arrived and do nest here by putting their eggs in other birds nest. Many do not like cowbirds but I respect the creativity and brainpower of the cowbird. While other birds are caring for their young, the cowbirds follow the livestock around eating bugs in a sense is helpful to the animals. Daily Diary: Thankful for More Wonder...
