Migration Bird Diary: The Male Red-Winged Blackbirds have Arrived in March.

The swampland has created a popular spot for red-winged blackbirds. The males have arrived and stay until November. I saw one eating on birdseed then heard multiples singing. Not all males arrive in March, only the determined that wants the desired spots for nesting.

Example: this week a snowstorm, they go through a variety of weather patterns while guarding their spot in the swamp. Then the rest of males and females arrive in April-May.

Daily Diary: The variety of weather in March: spring, summer, autumn, and winter all in the same week is wild-wonderful.

March 7th Autumn-like: Fitness – Strength Training: Dumbbells-Barbell-Bench: Leg Day, Chest-Shoulders, Triceps-Abs / Hiking. Food – Coffee-Eggs-Bacon-Fruit, Beef Burger: lettuce-mayo-pickles, Nutty Fruity Protein Bar, Cow Milk

March 8th Spring-like: Fitness – Stability Training: Isometrics-Calisthenics-Pilates-Yoga-Barre-Chi / Hiking. Food – Coffee-Eggs-Bacon-Fruit, Tuna Steak Burger: lettuce-mayo-pickles, Nutty Fruity Protein Bar, Cow Milk

March 9th Summer-like: Fitness – Strength Training: Dumbbells-Barbell-Bands: Glute Day, Back-Biceps, Core-Crawls / Hiking. Food – Coffee-Eggs-Bacon-Fruit, Chicken Gizzards Stir Fry: butter-herbs, Ice Cream (milk-cream-eggs-honey) added Peanut Butter

March 10th Winter-like: Fitness – Stability Training: Isometrics-Calisthenics-Pilates-Yoga-Barre-Chi / Hiking. Food – Coffee-Eggs-Bacon-Fruit, Beef Steaks: butter-herbs, Ice Cream (milk-cream-eggs-honey) added Peanut Butter

All Days: 3AM Awake: Cozy Shower, Beloved Coffee, Cherished Day of Chores-Being for Blessed Farm Life in WI, USA / Asleep: 9PM.

Migration Bird Diary: More March Arrivals: Sandhill Cranes, Female Red Winged Blackbirds, Cowbirds Female Red Winged Blackbirds: Many male Red-Winged Blackbirds arrived in early March and now the females have joined the males in their nesting spots in the swamp. Male and Female Sandhill Cranes: One of my favorite birds is the Sandhill Crane. Cranes do nest here in the pastures and some in the same spots as previous years. Male and Female Cowbirds: The cowbirds arrived and do nest here by putting their eggs in other birds nest. Many do not like cowbirds but I respect the creativity and brainpower of the cowbird. While other birds are caring for their young, the cowbirds follow the livestock around eating bugs in a sense is helpful to the animals. Daily Diary: Thankful for More Wonder...
